- Author of Taking Aim at the President: The Remarkable Story of the Woman who Shot Gerald Ford, Jan. 2009, Palgrave Macmillan, NY.
- Winner of four awards for Taking Aim including the Smart-Writ Best Non-fiction award at the 2010 Mensa Annual Conference.

Geri has spoken nationally and in international settings in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. She teaches Internet Research Skills to many different types of organizations.
She has appeared on radio, television, and podcast. She speaks on Internet Research Skills nationally. A brief list includes at the 2011 Annual Mensa meeting in Portland, Oregon, Southern Expressions conference in Biloxi, Mississippi, Redwood Writers Conference, Literary Stage at the San Mateo County Fair and numerous writers organizations.
Currently, she is serving as a Board member of the NorCal consortium of Northern California writers associations; she has served as president of the California Writers Club, and as conference director of the Jack London Writers Conference.
Geri graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles, with a degree in English.
